There are 2 options when connected (Stereo and Audio). Tried both the options, with selecting the sterio option, I can hear the sounds while making a test call but when there is actual call (Meetings). There is a slight difference in ANC but a bigger difference in comfort. Which is why i strongly prefer the QC45. I chose NC700 over QC45 because of its adjustable NC and more natural aware mode.
