LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - LG&E and KU is working to restore power to thousands of homes affected during Friday night’s storms. As of 9 p.m., there are around 219,000 customers without power across the company’s service area, according to the LG&E outage map. LG&E spokeswoman Liz Pratt said there are more than 700 reports of wires down as well.
